Vintages:
Wine Description
Made from 100% Primitivo vines that are planted and trained in the alberello (little bush) method. This traditional, low-yielding training system employed throughout southern Italy, southern France and Spain, requires that the vines are trained close to the ground, in small bushes. The must is macerated with the skins for 12 days and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for one year in stainless steel to ensure ideal structure and easy-going drinkability.
Tasting Notes
Dark ruby-red with intense aroma of cherry, this 100% primitivo is velvety on the palate, elegant and intense with firm tannins that provide structure without over-powering the wine's natural character.
