Gambero Rosso, Italy’s most important wine publication, has announced its 2011 Tre Bicchieri award winners. "Tre Bicchieri," or Three Glasses, is the highest award that can be given to an Italian wine. Winebow represents 19 of this year’s award winners:

Leonardo LoCascio honored with 13th Annual Professional Excellence Award

On April 30th, 2010 the New York Institute of Technology and Quarterly Review of Wines will present their 13th Annual Professional Excellence Award at the Jumeirah Essex House in Manhattan. This year the Wine Industry Award will be given to Leonardo LoCascio, Chairman and CEO of Winebow, “one of the best wine importers and distributors in the country.” |

Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Award Importer of the Year 2009

Winebow won "Importer of the Year" at Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s 10th Annual Wine Star Awards Competition. The magazine created the awards to recognize leaders in the crafting, marketing and distribution of wine and spirits worldwide, and highlight achievements of the past year.
The award was presented to Leonardo LoCascio by Wine Enthusiast’s Michael Schachner on behalf of the magazine’s entire editorial team. Mr. Schachner commended Winebow for its forward-thinking advocacy of quality wines from around the world, its outstanding relationships with its clients, and its impact on the culture of wine drinking in the United States.
