Aguardente de Cana Pitú is an absolutely pure, sugar cane brandy, known as "Cachaca" (kuh-SHA-sah) or Aguardente, produced in Brazil.
The name "Pitú" comes from a large prawn of exotic taste, found in the rivers of Northeastern Brazil. This prawn has become
the symbol of Aguardente Pitú. With production
of over 120 million bottles annually, Pitú is proud to be one of the largest producers of Cachaca in Brazil.

How to Make "Caipirinha" 1 lime 2 teasp. Fine granulated sugar
2 jiggers Pitú Cut lime (with peel) in small cubes Place in "old fashioned glass" Add sugar
Using a wooden pestle, squash lime cubes fill glass with cracked ice. Pour Pitú over ice and serve. (Makes 2 Caipirinhas)
