Vitiano Rosé IGT Umbria 2010

Wine Description

Vitiano Rosé is produced from 30% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Aleatico grapes, manually harvested at their optimal ripeness. After a brief period of maceration at a very cool temperature, the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and bright color.

Tasting Notes

Deep coral-pink in color, Vitiano Rosé delivers clean, juicy aromas of strawberries, plums, and cranberries, along with scents of roses and gardenias. Vitiano Rosé is the perfect wine for summer. Dry, medium-bodied, and refreshing, it is delicious with salads, grilled vegetables, grilled fish such as salmon or tuna, and with mussels marinara.
