Valle Reale

Vigne Nuove Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC 2010

Wine Description

The Vigne Nuove grapes come from the estate's youngest vineyards, where hot daytime temperatures are cooled by constant winds blowing from the Gran Sasso massif. Hand-harvesting at the perfect ripeness levels, combined with a brief cold maceration with the skins in steel tanks, ensures full-throttle fruit flavors while preserving freshness and acidity. Quite simply, Valle Reale has redefined how good Trebbiano can be.

Tasting Notes

This refreshing wine expresses wonderful aromas of citrus, orange rind, white pepper and fresh flowers. Zesty and crisp on the palate, it is well-balanced, supple and ready to be enjoyed. This Trebbiano is great by the glass and incredibly food-friendly. Try it with grilled white meat, sushi, shellfish and omelets.
