Wine Description

The Tilia wines are made at Bodegas Esmeralda in the Eastern region of Mendoza. Bonarda is an Italian varietal that is flourishing in Argentina and steadily becoming one of the country's signature offerings. The grapes for this wine come from El Mirador vineyard in the Eastern region of Mendoza. The soil and climate offer a perfect atmosphere for growing Bonarda. the vineyard is old, and it is planted on sandy loam soil.

Tasting Notes

The Tilia Bonarda offers intense aromatics of ripe raspberries with floral and licorice notes. The mouthfeel is full, yet soft, with ripe red berryfruit flavors and touches of anise, vanilla and toast from light oak aging. The finish shows soft, sweet tannins and fresh, lively acidity.
