Bodegas Nieto Senetiner

Don Nicanor Malbec 2007

Wine Description

A special selection of Malbec grapes sourced from high altitude vineyards in Agrelo. The wine ages in small, second passage French oak barrels for 12 months to achieve refinement of fruit flavor, complemented by a delicate touch of oak.

Tasting Notes

A brilliant wine of deep red color with purple hues. The nose displays aromas of cherries, plums, cloves and vanilla, as well as a hint of smoke suggesting elegance and complexity. The mouth-feel is round and warm, balancing both fruit and spice. The finish is long and elegant. Pair with grilled or roasted beef or game meats, spicy sauces and mature cheeses.
