Bodegas Nieto Senetiner

Don Nicanor Chardonnay Viognier 2008

Wine Description

A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Viognier from very high altitude vineyards in the Tupungato area. The grapes are pressed and the juice fermented at lower temperatures in stainless steel tanks to ensure a purity of fresh fruit aroma and flavor. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for 6 months to give it a creamy, round texture.

Tasting Notes

Yellow in color with a green iridescence. The nose displays aromas of white flowers and peaches, perfectly matched with the vanilla acquired from French oak aging. On the mouth it is voluptuos, but remains fresh and easy to drink. Pair with poultry, shellfish and blue cheeses.
