Wine Description
A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Viognier from very high altitude vineyards in the Tupungato area. The grapes are pressed and the juice fermented at lower temperatures in stainless steel tanks to ensure a purity of fresh fruit aroma and flavor. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for 6 months to give it a creamy, round texture.
Tasting Notes
Yellow in color with a green iridescence. The nose displays aromas of white flowers and peaches, perfectly matched with the vanilla acquired from French oak aging. On the mouth it is voluptuos, but remains fresh and easy to drink. Pair with poultry, shellfish and blue cheeses.

Wine Advocate - Issue #180/December 31, 2008
“The 2007 Chardonnay (60%)-Viognier (40%) was aged in both oak (60%) and stainless steel. Medium straw-colored and quite fragrant, it offers up notes of tangerine, peach, and assorted white fruits. On its dry, fleshy palate mineral and spice elements emerge leading to a moderately long, fruit-filled finish.”
