Wine Description

An innovative blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Corvina Veronese, grown in calcareous soils with a southeastern exposure. Both the fermentation and aging are carried out in stainless steel tanks to preserve the supple fruit in this youthful wine.

Tasting Notes

Corte Giara Merlot-Corvina offers elegant notes of blackberries, black currants, almonds and tobacco. Deep ruby red in color with fruity and spicy aromas, it possesses very good structure with a long, attractive finish. Best enjoyed with roasted meat, beef stew, eggs with black truffles, steak tartare or soft cheese.
