Castello di Bossi

Vin San Laurentino IGT Toscana 2002

Wine Description

This classic Italian dessert wine is named after the patron saint of the church located in the small village, San Laurentino. Made from grapes that are dried for five months to achieve concentration, followed by a slow, ambient fermentation and lengthy period of maturation in traditional caratelli casks.

Tasting Notes

Amber gold in color, this wine has characteristic aromas of dried nectarine, toasted almonds, figs and orange blossoms. Vin San Laurentino is sublime with fois gras or Gorgonzola cheese.
