Reviews

International Wine Cellar - January/February 2008
Focus on Argentina
"Saturated, deep ruby. Deep, brooding aromas of cassis, licorice, tobacco and dark chocolate turned fresher and sweeter with air. Dense, sweet and rich, with excellent depth to the flavors of black fruits, mocha, cigar box, minerals and menthol. This big, lush, nicely delineated wine finishes with substantial dusty tannins and plenty of energy. Impressive."

Wine Enthusiast - August 2007
Buying Guide: Argentina Red Wines
"Nothing is hidden in this bruising, forward Cab. The nose is oaky as can be, but also endowed with intense black fruit. The palate might register as soft to some, but there's still a tannic foundation that bolsters blackberry, spice cake and molasses flavors. Not super long on the finish but intense in a lumbering sort of way."

Wine & Spirits - June 2007
Argentina Tastings
"Aromas of cassis and cherry emerge as this wine takes on air. The structure feels severe and tight, while mineral acidity highlights the red fruit. A good steakhouse pour."

Wine Spectator - May 31, 2007
Buying Guide New Releases: Argentina
"Rock solid, with black currant, fig and tobacco notes backed by cocoa powder and cedar notes on the finish. Slightly firm in the end, but there’s plenty of stuffing."
