Botromagno

Primitivo Rosso IGT Puglia 2008

Wine Description

Due to its naturally low yields, Primitivo requires special care in the vineyard and ripens best when trained in the Alberello method. The exposition and higher altitudes of the Botromagno vineyards distinguish their Primitivo from others on the market.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant ruby-red in color with violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of black cherries, vanilla, cinnamon, sage, mint and tobacco awaken the senses. On the palate, this substantial red is smooth and velvety with balanced acidity. Best enjoyed with salami, aged cheese, grilled meats and fowl.
