Botromagno

Greco IGT Murgia Bianco 2008

Wine Description

After a 10 year clonal selection program in collaboration with the University of Basilicata, Botromagno was successful in identifying a unique clone of the Greco grape that the oldest local farmers reffered to as "mascolino." This Greco clone is grown in the Zingariello vineyard at an elevation of 1,980 feet in chalky, low-nutrient soils.

Tasting Notes

Deep straw-yellow, very aromatic, giving off aromas of wild flowers and pear blossoms. Appealing and easy to drink, with a crisp, perfectly balanced acidity and a long finish.
